Privacy Policy
ProblemSolved ("ProblemSolved", "I", "me", "my") is an independent software developer based in Sweden. I develop, publish, operate and maintain mobile applications and related digital services.
This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, store, protect and delete personal information when you use applications and related services operated by ProblemSolved, including Party Pal.
For purposes of applicable data protection legislation, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), ProblemSolved is generally the data controller for personal data processed in connection with its Services.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to mobile applications and related digital services developed, owned, published or maintained by ProblemSolved.
Individual applications may have additional privacy information where their functionality requires information specific to that application.
Party Pal consists of an Android application used by hosts to create and manage invitations and related web-based invitation and RSVP pages that can be accessed by invited guests through a web browser.
2. Party Pal Service Model
Party Pal allows an adult host to create a digital party invitation using the Party Pal Android application.
The host may provide event information, upload images and provide guest contact information.
The host can then send guests a unique invitation link, including by email or another communication method supported by the host.
Guests do not need to install the Party Pal Android application to view an invitation or submit an RSVP. Guests can access an active invitation through a web browser.
The invitation link may therefore provide access to information entered by the host and may allow the guest to submit RSVP information.
3. Information I Collect
Depending on the Service you use and how you interact with it, I may collect the following categories of information.
A. Host Account Information
For Party Pal, this may include:
- Name
- Email address
- Account identifier
- Authentication information
- Account creation and login information
- Account activity and security information
B. Party and Invitation Information
The host may provide:
- Party name or title
- Party date and time
- Party location
- Invitation message
- Child's name
- Guest names
- Guest email addresses
- RSVP responses
- Other information voluntarily entered into an invitation
The host should only provide information reasonably necessary for creating and managing the invitation.
C. Guest Information
A guest accessing an invitation may provide information such as:
- Name
- RSVP response
- Number of attendees, where applicable
- Optional message or response information
A guest may be able to access an invitation without creating a Party Pal account.
D. Children's Information
Party Pal may allow an adult host to enter limited information relating to a child, such as the child's name, to personalise an invitation.
Party Pal is intended to be used by adults, including parents, guardians and other adult event organisers.
I do not knowingly create Party Pal accounts for children or intentionally collect personal information directly from children.
The adult host is responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate authority and, where required, parental or guardian permission to provide information about a child.
E. User-Uploaded Images and Photographs
Party Pal allows hosts to upload photographs, illustrations and other images for use in party invitations.
Uploaded images may include photographs of children, family members, friends or other individuals, as well as artwork or other material selected by the host.
Uploaded images are stored and processed solely for purposes connected with providing the Party Pal invitation service, including displaying the image to people accessing the relevant active invitation.
I do not claim ownership of user-uploaded images.
Hosts are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights, licences or permissions to upload and use images through Party Pal.
Party Pal does not provide or license a library of third-party copyrighted characters, artwork or photographs for hosts to upload.
F. Technical and Usage Information
I may collect limited technical information, including:
- IP address
- Device type
- Operating system
- App version
- Browser type
- Language and region settings
- Error and crash information
- Performance information
- Security logs
- Authentication events
- Dates and times of interactions
This information is used primarily for security, troubleshooting, maintenance and service improvement.
G. Support Communications
If you contact me, I may retain information contained in your communication, including your email address and message contents, so that I can respond and maintain appropriate support records.
4. How I Use Personal Information
I use personal information where necessary to:
- Create and operate Party Pal invitations
- Display invitations to guests
- Process RSVP responses
- Send invitations or service-related communications requested by hosts
- Manage host accounts
- Provide customer support
- Process deletion requests
- Maintain security
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Diagnose technical problems
- Improve reliability and performance
- Comply with legal obligations
- Respond to valid legal requests
- Enforce the Terms of Service and applicable policies
I do not sell personal information.
I do not use children's information for advertising, behavioural profiling or targeted marketing.
Uploaded photographs are not used by ProblemSolved for advertising, marketing, profiling or AI training.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
For users in the EEA and UK, I rely on one or more of the following legal bases.
Contractual Necessity
Processing necessary to provide the Service requested by the user.
For example, storing an invitation image while an invitation is active is necessary to display that invitation to guests.
Legitimate Interests
Processing necessary for legitimate interests such as:
- Maintaining service security
- Preventing abuse
- Troubleshooting
- Improving reliability
- Protecting the Services and users
- Enforcing contractual rights
Consent
Where consent is required by law, consent will be requested.
Legal Obligation
Where processing is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders or other valid legal requirements.
6. Invitation Links and Guest Access
Each Party Pal invitation may be associated with a unique invitation link.
The link is intended to allow invited guests to access the relevant invitation without creating a Party Pal account.
Because possession of an active invitation link may provide access to the associated invitation, hosts should only share invitation links with intended recipients.
Party Pal may use unpredictable or randomly generated invitation identifiers to reduce the risk of unauthorised guessing of invitation links.
An invitation link should not be considered equivalent to a personal login account.
7. User-Uploaded Images and Copyright
Party Pal is a user-generated-content service.
I do not routinely verify whether an uploaded image is owned by the person uploading it or whether that person has permission to use it.
Hosts are responsible for ensuring that images they upload do not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights belonging to another person or organisation.
Party Pal does not grant hosts permission to use third-party copyrighted material merely because the Service permits an image to be uploaded.
If I receive a credible complaint regarding allegedly infringing content, I may investigate, restrict access to, remove or delete the relevant content where appropriate.
Further information is provided in the Party Pal Acceptable Use & Copyright Policy.
8. Storage and Retention of Party and Invitation Data
Uploaded images may remain stored while the associated invitation is active because guests need access to the invitation and its images.
Images therefore may not be deleted immediately after upload.
When an invitation reaches its expiry date, the invitation and all associated data are scheduled for automatic deletion.
Unless otherwise required for legal, security or operational reasons, the invitation, its guest list, RSVP responses and any uploaded image are normally deleted within 24 hours after the invitation expires.
If an invitation is cancelled or deleted before its scheduled expiry date, associated data is normally deleted as part of that process.
Users may also request earlier deletion by contacting: delete@problem-solved.app
9. Account and Data Deletion
Hosts may request deletion of their Party Pal account and associated personal data at any time.
Requests should be sent to: delete@problem-solved.app
Please provide the email address associated with the account so that the relevant account can be identified.
Valid deletion requests will be processed within a reasonable period and, where applicable, within the time required by law.
Deletion may result in:
- Account deletion
- Active invitation deletion
- Guest/RSVP data deletion
- Uploaded image deletion
- Other associated data being deleted or anonymised
Some information may need to be retained where required by law, necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Supabase may provide:

Some service providers may process information outside the country in which you reside.
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, appropriate safeguards required by applicable data protection legislation will be used where applicable, including recognised transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
12. Data Security

Party Pal is designed for adults organising children's events.
Adults may provide limited information about children where necessary to create and manage an invitation.
I do not knowingly permit children to create Party Pal accounts or intentionally collect personal information directly from children.
I do not use children's information for advertising or targeted marketing.
